What is Dam by Lotte?

Ever since I started to learn more about who I am and what I love, I’ve known I’m into fashion. Fashion is a way for me to express myself. I can also express my creativity in clothing and fashion besides graphic design and content creation alone. From when I was twelve years old I filmed YouTube videos in which I styled outfits and showed my latest clothing purchases. I still do this but have taken it a step further not too long ago.

I love vintage designer fashion and this has resulted into creating my own archive clothing shop on Instagram. I named it ‘Dam by Lotte’ which stands for Designer and More by Lotte. I started this brand as a school project for the subject ‘Coaching’. Coaching was a subject in which you work to grow as a content creator in a field you desire yourself. I did lots of research on how to properly start an Instagram brand and run a Depop shop. I spent lots of hours building Dam by Lotte and it is now still flourishing and growing. It’s going very well, I already have quite some (loyal) followers and I love doing it. I manage everything for Dam by Lotte myself; photoshoots, social media, packing orders, shipping, etc. There’s still a lot of space for me to grow as a content creator and small business owner but I’m open for this and want to keep growing and learning everyday.

I’ve decided to go for a simple yet classy design, in my opinion very suitable with the type of clothes I sell.

Old branding

When I had just launched Dam by Lotte, I had a very different branding. See the sheet down below. After a while of using this identity I noticed that it didn’t really feel like ‘me’ and I wanted something more simple yet classy and stylish.
